Wilshire Boulevard: Grand Concourse of Los Angeles

wilshire.jpg “Wilshire Boulevard is a cross-section of Los Angeles, literally, it crosses through Los Angeles, cutting through so many different levels of our economy and tourism and what we love and hate about Los Angeles—the beauty, the darkness. Wilshire Boulevard also captures the culturally highs of Los Angeles history: what I consider to be the holy trinity of architecture, culture and food was on Wilshire, and that’s the Ambassador Hotel, Bullocks Wilshire and the Brown Derby. They were all within blocks of each other.”
