dream continuity

i loves how the facts of a dream can change mid-stride, so, for example, you start out the dream moving into a new apartment in NYC by yourself, looking around the empty room excited about the possibilities of where to put all your stuff, and by the end you’ve moved into that same apartment but it’s much smaller and two people already lived there and there’s no room for anything, and you’re totally unaware that this wasn’t always the case until you wake up and think, “wait a second. wasn’t i living alone at some point? what ever happened to that? that was really nice.”
